Picasso expert in California

We recently corresponded with a noted Picasso expert in California who requested anonymity. We had asked in our letter,

"Have you ever seen any other two-sided pieces like this, with a pencil drawing on one side and then in reverse a sanguine monoprint on the other side? Imagine how dramatic it would look framed, two sided, on a stand like a sculpture, or two sided, hanging from the ceiling, revealing a whole different side of Picasso's genius, so to speak.

"Or do you know of any other "ink" drawings that are probably not drawings, but prints produced through this multi-layer monoprint process?

"Let us know if you know of any other of these rare early examples, or if you know of anybody who studies this kind of thing at a university."

Through a couple of weeks of correspondence we received a number of kind responses which can be summarized as:

"Now that¹s an interesting story! .... I don’t know what to say. I’ve never seen or heard of anything like your piece. What have Maya and Claude Picasso said? Good luck with it!"

We noted in response to the point about the Picasso family that we are seeking a way to correspond with them.
